About this place
At ufotable Cafe Tokyo, scenes and characters from anime and games find their way onto the plate and into the glass. The cafe offers original, limited-time menus inspired by television anime and games, and some orders may come with exclusive gifts.
One past menu item, “Ensenkai: Tobichigama”, was an arrabbiata inspired by Gyutaro’s Blood Demon Art. Spicy arrabbiata and baby-leaf greens represented Gyutaro, while prawns wrapped in kadaif evoked the technique’s two arms. For something sweet, there was the “After We Defeat an Upper Rank Demon” parfait. Almond tofu concealing lychee syrup was topped with orange and berries to suggest a scene at dusk. These are examples from previous menus; collaborations change over time.
Visitors have also remarked on the original artwork displayed inside and the screens, which add to the sense of stepping into the world of the featured series. The Nakano-ku Nogata branch offers dine-in service. Reservations are available, so it is worth checking the booking arrangements and current collaboration before visiting.
